My sincerest apologies if this is already discussed somewhere, I looked through the first couple of pages on here and he faq thread.

Are there any ill-effects for inbreeding? Or is it considered to bring down the value of pets? Please give your opinion or facts that you see around.

Inbreeding is impossible unless with half siblings.
And as for that I have not seen anything bad happen from it.

You can breed full siblings, I've done it. Also, nothing bad has happened so it's okay. It's not like breeding real animals.

@Rjay

I am no expert, but I know you can't breed full sibilings, the next message will pop when you try :"These pets refuse to mate with each other."
How did you manage doing that?..

Inbreeding should be impossible. Can't breed siblings or half siblings, at least that's what Krin wanted to put in the system. There have been gaps in the system and people could have done so before.

But otherwise, inbreeding shouldn't be possible, and if you guys can do it, don't rely on it being around. x:
