Just look
At the world around us
The sun, shining cheerfully
The moon, dimly lighting the night
Trees, swaying in the wind
Clouds, soaring the sky
In their puffy, joyful way
Just look
At the world around us
The animals
Birds catching wind
Deer gracefully running
Wolves majestically leaping
Flowers blooming constantly;
Giving off sweet perfume
Ripe fruits bursting with tastiness
The joys of nature
You can find them;
If you just look.

A bound, a leap
Why keep yourself in darkness?
Why defeat yourself so utterly
Why imprison your happiness
Why imprison your life
Because you've been betrayed
Because something happened
Because you're afraid
That something will hurt you
Well, let me tell you
Everyone deserves and needs happiness
Happiness can take the pain away
Destroy the rainy day
And unlock your imprisoned spirit
Take a bound
A leap
Into the light

It broke

The walls came crashing down
The tight rope splintered
The fragile glass shattered
And all that was left;
Pieces.
Pieces of the heart
