I hvae no idea if this game works like pokemon but I thought I'd ask: Is there an increase chance of things dependent on how much health a Sylesti has when you try to capture it?

From what I know, no there is no correlation between damage and capture rate.

Well it'll be nice if possible to add, because it'll enchance capture rate
if you dropped one's health a bit and would be great when trying to
capture a "rare" Sylesti or simply one you just "love"~ :3

I have always lowered the health just out of habit, but if it does not have an effect it would certainly be nice! I haven't had a 100% catch rate by any means, and I don't feel like I have been cheated or anything.

It I guess is sort of a tough subject because while I would love to be able to raise my chances of getting my first zebra stripe Qitari, I honestly think the chances are at an okay place. 100 or even 90% catch rate would cheapen our partners. Or rather that is my opinion!

Another question that sort of goes in line with this- has anyone else noticed the standard traps working any better than the lesser ones? Because I'm blowing through the standard ones just as quickly, even after weakening the animal (which may or may not be doing any good anyway )?

I haven't seen a difference.

My most recent data:
x10 Standard Nets= zero catches
x10 Lesser Nets= one catch

I think the percentage has been changed lately. D:

Before I'd catch 2 or 3 out of 5. Now it takes 20 to catch 1.... D:< (Or I'm just unlucky today)

Krin hasn't touched the traps with making it so the success rate is lower. The percentage decreases with the success rate the more rare a pet is.

Is there any different percentage catch rate on the traps? I ceased using the Lesser Snare traps as soon as my initial three were exhausted in favor of the Standard ones in Sarielle (I don't catch a whole lot of Sylesti), so I have never noticed if there's much of a difference in catch rate.

@Shadowphyr

Yes, there is a modest increase in chance to catch all catchable pets as the trap quality increases.

Fabulous! I thought I'd ask because it had seemed to me that the only noticeable difference was the types of Sylesti they were capable of catching (ie Lesser can only catch Common and Uncommon while Standard traps allow you to also catch Rare Sylesti). So this is good news! XD
