So today I found out that you can have a possible chance of getting essences while nurturing so off and on today I nurtured. I nurtured about 1000 pets today and got NOTHING!!! Then I looked in the scale shop and a golden eggie was there waiting for me. I only needed 17 more scales so off I went hurrying to get the scales came back a minute later and *poof* it was gone. My dreams are officially crushed. WHY!!!!!!!???????

Yep, that'll happen. I've missed a lot of gold eggies by just a few seconds.

And yet still going to cry because I found a Draeyl essence inside *sobs in corner* there goes 1,000 scales

Well, think of it this way.
Whenever someone grabs a gold egg, they lose 1000 scales. You still have your own 1000 scales to buy another one!
