Just wondering how to determine how much i can sell a sylesti for and why

Selling:
100g per Carried Gene/mutation
500 per Visible
1g = No Gene/mutation
10g = less pretty or just want them adopted
This is what I do. It would probably be good to check out what other people do too though.

Usually I don't have a set price for selling my sylestis. But if I did, it would probably be something like this:

1g - 1 carry/no carry/no vis (Maybe more if it's pretty)
100-150 - 2 carry/ 1 vis
200-800 - 3 carry/1 vis, 1 carry
300-5000 - 4 carry/2 vis/1 vis, 2 carry
1000-10000 - 5 carry/2 vis, 1 carry/ 1 vis, 3 carry/
2000-20000 - 3 vis/ etc.

But I don't usually sell my 5 carries, so I don't know ^^' and prices vary a lot depending on how pretty the pet is

I'm more of a breeding person, so I know more about that than selling XD

Breeding varies from gender, with males being cheaper than females because there is no recovery timer. Also, pets that carry or have really recessive genes I will price higher because it's more rare (e.g. chibi wings, Demon flame horns)

1g - no traits/no genes (I would usually sell or release those pets though)
1-50 - 1 carry
100-150 - 2 carry/1 vis
200-1000 - 3 carry/1 vis, 1 carry
1000-3000 - 4 carry/1 vis, 2 carry/ 2 vis (But I may price higher depending on colour and recessiveness of genes)
1100-5000 - 5 carry/1vis, 3 carry/ 2 vis, 1 carry
1200-8000 - 6 carry/1 vis, 4 carry/ 2 vis, 2 carry

But I usually do discounts depending on the person, and if I know you very well, I do breedings for only 1g no matter the amount of genes XD

how do you know what genes are recessive?

If you go to the generator it has all the genes in order of recessive-ness.

it's up to you. there are no set prices. I have seen people sell 2 vis for 40k as a regular price and people give them away for 1g.

Personally when I sell, I sell pets with no traits for 1g, pets with 1 carried trait for 300g, pets with 1 showing trait for 500g

Then I kinda just go up from there. usually I will price a 1 vis with 2 carried for 1.3-1.5k and I sell double vis for 4k-7k depending on how many genes they carry.

Most of my pets are usually priced between 500-1.5k

Pets I think might get a higher price or pets I don't know what to price, I auction. Some times no one wants them and some times you'll sell something you thought was only worth a grand or so for 20 or 30k.

Then I get tired of so many pets despite having room and just give them away for free
