I've gotten too the first Dungeon and am trying to beat it. But, I'm running out of money.....I'm not asking for charity!!!

I was just wondering if anyone knew a way to get more money? There aren't any Quests left to do, I've been doing Missions, but my mission limit is two. I can't get another slot on my team because I have about 300 money. I've been trying to sell things and have an experience orb up for sale in Item Auctions. I'm trying to sell Sylesties, but no one buys them. I've been scavenging some money from crates and chests, but more of the time I get hit by booby traps. I can't heal my pets without money.

Any suggestions?

My suggestion would be to sit back and run your two quest missions as much as possible and return to a previous dungeon to go spelunking. That or set pets to missions and find something to do for an hour or something (however long you set your missions to), come back, collect, reset on missions, and repeat. Do it enough until you can afford a third slot and do it again. Eventually you'll have a small stockpile of gold to work with, and Sylestis of high enough levels to not need as many potions to survive (all you'd need to worry about then is gear).

That's how I did it, anyway. It seems like a long time to sit and do nothing, but it really does help in the long run. Once you have pets who can run higher missions, as well as a dedicated team to go exploring with in the meantime, you'll be rolling in cash. Or at least not desperately hurting for it.

I'd suggest doing missions and leveling up your other pets at the same time, in areas before the dungeon.

You could also play Jinxie's Jamboree.

Unless you get very unlucky, you should always win Gold over time.

The fastest way I make money is by level grinding. Go to the farthest area that you can and kill everything. After a bazillion battles, sell all the common items and see if you can sell the rarer ones. Do this in an area where you can find bandits because sometimes you get their clothes. XD These sell nicely at 10k a piece. Or you can try this method in a Sylesti-only populated area to try and find essences. These sell quickly as well. (You could basically put it up for sale for whatever and if people really want it they will buy it. Economics. ;D)

Or you can try essence hunting in the hatchery if you don't have a team. The scales could then be used to buy items to re-sell.

Your welcome. :3

It takes patience though, but I found out that it is easier if you bring along a Sylesti that needs levels as you aren't just pointlessly killing. XD (as long as I have nets with me I have no problem doing this for hours)

Egg clicking on the other hand... I have a hard time motivating myself to do that. XD

Missions and selling/buying pets could help make some money. Also breeding your adult sylesties might make you some extra profit.
