Seriously, I usually don't bother to work crossword puzzles because they are too easy. However, this Spring 2016 Crossword Puzzle had a couple of clues I couldn't figure out at all. Does anyone think they solved it successfully?

I feel like I got everything right except #1 down. That one I'm like 25% sure. xD
I actually liked this crossword a lot. It was fun~

I got all fo theme xcept 1 down...since i didnt get 1 down at all, i didnt get to submit it :(
Allt he toehr oens im fairly confident on. but i didn't even ahve a guess for 1 down...

I'm pretty sure I got them all. It was a nice challenge this time around though! It made me think past the first things that popped into my head.

which ones are you having trouble with? A few had me stumped for awhile, but I eventually figured them out

As with several other people, 1 Down totally stumped me. I knew the kind of thing the clue referred to, but not the word (if that makes any sense). I also couldn't get 7 Down. I think I could have figured out 3 Across eventually, but I quit trying when I realized I just didn't have the knowledge required to figure out 1 Down and 7 Down. (And this is from a person who can do the Harper's crossword without reference materials! Whoever wins a prize from this contest totally deserves to!)

7 Down had me stumped for HOURS. I ended up looking up a list of common flowers, and tried plugging certain ones in. When I found a few that worked, I did some more research with the clues provided, and found the answer. A helpful hint- Marie Antoinette loved perfumes, and the answer is a flower used in many perfume bases. It's commonly used for its scent.
As for 1 Down, think specific brands!
3 across- you've heard the name in the commercials for it if you've watched TV before, I guarantee. Search the corners of your brain! This is an essential part of figuring this one out.
(Do these extra hints count as cheating? I hope not ;_;)
