Happy New Year, fellow Sylestians! We hope everyone had a great holiday.

First of all, welcome to Sylestia and thank you for joining the community! As you may already know, Sylestia is a brand new Site that launched exactly 3 weeks ago today. In just 21 days, we have made tremendous progress and today we have launched our first major update!

We hope that you have enjoyed playing Sylestia so far and we greatly appreciate all of the support and feedback we have received so far! With almost 1,000 users so far, we can't wait to see what 2013 has in store for Sylestia.


Below are the new additions that were included in today's update:


-A new species has been discovered in Umbra Forest, the Morkko!



-We have released 12 brand new Genes and Mutations for the six starting species!
Qitari: Striped Scales, Carousel
Zolnixi: Paint, Spirit Flames
Vulnyx: Serval Spots, Jeweled Collar
Aurleon: Advanced Runes, Phoenix Flames
Draeyl: Seaslug Markings, Dragon Armor
Sylvorpa: Lionfish, Lionfish Spikes

-Improved the Scales on all Draeyls
-Slightly improved the lines on the Female Hatchling Draeyl
-Added 2 new Dynamic Events to the world of Sylestia.
-Increased the regularity of Dynamic Events.
-Added an Event Satchel and Reputation Rewards for participating in Dynamic Events.
-Added unique Avatar Items to the enemies and bosses involved in all Dynamic Events.
-Added the following to the Diamond Shop: Enhanced Morkko Essence, Morkko Essence, Magical Pie, Greater RGB Dye.
-If you have not yet seen, we also added our Monthly Avatar Items to the Diamond Shop. They will only be available during the month of January.


Coming Soon
-The release of Umbra Forest (Level 25-50 Region)
-An increase in the Level Cap up to Level 60
-Additional Dynamic Events
-Referral System with special rewards
-Avatar Style Unlocks (Will allow you to unlock the current locked Avatar Styles)
-Redesigned Wardrobe for increased customization and user-friendliness

Oh sweet babies, dat new pet... Looks like I am getting another stable.

Real quick question. How do I chase after these new Morkko in Umbra Forest if Umbra Forest hasn't been released yet?

Also, I don't come across essences very often [also applied to my above statement, as I don't buy stuff online], so will these new genes and mutations be found on wild pets? Effing serious, female carousel, spirit flames, and collars? Yes.

Ahmahgawd. Just. AHMAHGAWD.

Well, I think I just found what to do with the essences I've been hoarding for a while.

D: the only problem with this is there absolutely no limit to all the choice colors and mutations and we don't have enough stable rooms. (If I'm correct it only goes to like 8 right?)

Also the same question I've only ever ran into one dropped essence and I can't bye them currently...
