Ohhh im stuck on the battle with Cereth :( when i try to go to town to do missions, i cant seem to go to it! and when i try defeating wild sylesties, they literally only give me ONE exp point - maybe more, but its so annoying ;-; ill probably make a new account anyway but this is SERIOUSLY annoying. Please fix this! T_T

If you're in a battle, you're not supposed to be able to do anything else until you're out of it. x:
(but you should be able to travel into the town)
So if you're in a battle with Cereth, you have to fight it out until it's over, whether you win or lose.
If that's not the case, check if there's a yellow bar at the top of the world page, saying if Esior is being attacked. That means a raid is happening (happens randomly at the top of every 3rd hour in sylestia time, IE 12pm 3pm 6pm and so on). You won't be able to enter Esior (if it says Esior is getting attacked) until the raid is over. You can wait for the raid to end, or help finish the raid by fighting the monsters to fill the counter til it's over.
If that doesn't help, let me know. Good luck!

I can't quite remember what level Cereth is. But if your pets are ready, then you can always go try. o:
It helps to have the 2nd battle slot open for your party, if you haven't already. Fighting with 2 pets makes a difference compared to just one.
Make sure all your pets' level up and proficiency points are allocated. I suggest reading a stat guide in Player Guides to get an idea on how to stat them.
Also, give your pets good equipment. Your mission satchels should be giving you equipment sometimes. Try to equip blue outlined equipment, they're better than green. And try to have your equipment matching what your pets are statted for (IE if your pet uses intelligence, have equipment that ups intelligence more than the other stats).
Guides in the player guide section explain some of this in somewhat better detail. Let me know if you need more help!
