Over on the left column of the forum you'll see in blue font the words "Advanced Search". Click on that. From there you can select that you want to look for pets for sale and the price range you're searching for. You can also search for specific species or if you're looking for themed pets or not. The Advanced Search is a great tool to get experience with using.

But I would warn to be careful about buying too many pets at once or also breeding too many pets at once. Stable space can fill very quickly. Also, additional tabs in each stable increase in price. And if you have no space in your stables, any pets in your nursery will be auto-released once they turn into adults.

Also, check out the pet auctions section. Despite it saying auction, it's a place for not only auctions but also a place to buy and advertise pets for sale.

Hi I'm also a new member and i saw your thread and I was wondering if you would like any pets from my hatchery all you have to do is tell me which pet you want and I'll set them up for you.

I usually have cheap Zolnixi's up for sale in my hatchery and stables, and if you like ones not up for sale feel free to ask. Even if i'm not willing to sell I could probably breed you a similar one.
