I need tips on how to defeat cereth and his bandits in fungus grove cause I have tried and tried

Hello there Snowstorm1123!!

My first tip: Try to get your second pet to your current user level~! :) The higher the level of your party members, the better off you'll be.

Make sure to equip better equipment onto your pets as they level up and use your level up and proficiency points.

Don't spread your level up points/proficiency points to all stats.
When battling, it's good to note that the first pet in your party will take the most hits, so you should make sure your first pet has plenty of health to tough out the attacks that it gets hit with. Don't worry so much about this pet doing damage~ that's what the second and eventual third party slot are for.

First pet: Health and agility
Second pet/Third pet: Strength OR Intelligence and dexterity (points in health as needed for survivability.

Make sure you choose just one, either strength or intelligence, for your attack pets.
Strength will increase physical damage and intellect will increase magical damage, your pet will attack with whatever is the highest.
Make sure the relic you equip to your pets match what your building your pet for as relics will boost magical, physical or both.
