Hi everyone! I started playing Sylestia around 2 years ago, and I was so busy in real life that I totally forgot about all my accounts on these pet websites. Now I'm back and I would just really love to know what is going on in Sylestia and if they were any major changes or updates since two summers ago.

Major questions:

~What breeds are still considered rare?
~Any new breeds?
~I was obsessed with breeding Lighiras and I've got a couple with Life Lines mutations and Petal Wings. Is that still a rare-ish combination? And are Lighiras still considered rare?

I can't think of anything else right now, but if you guys could just dump info on me, that would be great! :D

To answer the questions....



Ahh, none of the species are really 'rare' thanks to the breeding setup. The Lighs still show up in the wild only during the Summer Fest, Ryori for Fall, Griffi for Winter, and Aeridini for Spring, though. And the Nephini are still rarely seen at any time.

New Restricted Traits have been added to some of the revamped species, however, as well as traits for all species based on a certain holiday. (IE: Valentine's Lace on all species, and Lucky Dust on all species.)


Using the Advanced Search... there are only 302 Lighs that have Life Line Runes and Petal Wings at all, and only 33 of which have them both as visibles.

Ah I see, thanks for the quick reply! Have they changed the way the Generator works as well, for example how would you get essence to create a Sylesti?

Essences are still obtained in the same way as always (nurturing pets, defeating them in battle, diamond shop) but with the new generator there's a space above all of the creation settings that says


No Essence Loaded

Kind of easy to miss at first glance. :)


*I'm not sure exactly what timeframe you left, so maybe the generator was already changed before then? ^^;
