I like putting thought into my pet's names, and I'm sure others have fun naming, too! Share your best-named pets here! (You can share pictures, or just the names if you want.)
I like my names to have appropriate meanings, and I choose them from all cultures.
Her name is Gwlithan, which is a Welsh name meaning "dew" or "dewdrop".
Her name is Nuray, which is a Turkish name meaning "bright moon".
Her name is Kirrily, which sounds Irish to me, but is in fact a Maori or Aboriginal name meaning "tree bark or leaf".
I'll share more in later posts!

Nice! I do love seeing what others name their pets ^-^ I'm not the best at naming but here are my faves!
Irrlicht is a German word for will-o-the-wisp, so I thought it fitting for my favorite ryori ^-^
La Flammerole is a French word for the same phenomenon, lol. I thought it suited the Mystic Witch theme ^-^
Luciole is French for firefly:
And my mystic panda project baby, Hui Liang - his name means 'kind and good' ^-^
I'm still looking for names for a lot of my pets...anyone have any suggestions for this girl?

Wow, you guys chose awesome names for those pets!
I love naming my pets, but i don't take it quite as far as you guys do :D
I named this one Monarch, because she reminds me of that butterfly.
This one's name is Sunflower, i think it works really well.
Polytetrafluoroethylene is this one's name (good luck pronouncing that ;D). I named her this because she reminds me of Teflon (Polytetrafluoroethylene is the scientific name for Teflon), the material they use to make pans non-stick.
I named this one Amaranth because that's the color of the pink markings.
I chose the name Dahlia because her colors match that flower.
So, you can see i kept to the English dictionary, but in the future i might venture into those other languages :D
