With the Puffadore re-vamp, I've tried adjusting my Lavender Latte Puff design, with mixed results. Therefore I shall try a different approach. I'm going to re-design the Lavender Latte Puffadore from scratch.

For those of you who don't live in the Pacific Northwest, a lavender latte is a latte made with white chocolate and lavender syrup, which is a thing. For a really posh cup, there will be a garnish of lavender blossoms. My idea for this Puff design is it should be reminiscent of a truly excellent cup of lavender latte.

Please feel free to make comments and suggestions.

Wow! Looks like you're going dark roast with these guys, Spelf! I do like the colours you've got for the body and genes, but when I was looking at the mutations in the current colours, they seemed to blend in a bit, especially with the dark brown accent colour. Is that intentional? Or have you just not completely decided on mutation colours yet?

(Also, if you're really not thinking about using the lighter colours with the lavender mutation colours anymore, would it be alright if I generated the idea I had for the previous lavender lattes? I'll most definitely credit you for the colour scheme and would love help naming the design, if it is alright ^.^)

Actually, no, Mika; those Mutation and Accent Colors got messed up somehow. Since I was only considering Genes One and Two at the time, I didn't even notice.

You are right that they are "dark roast" now, instead of latte. I don't know if I will change the name or the color. Here's the current Eye, One, Two, Three, and Gene One Colors with my current color and trait ideas for the Mutations--


Sigh. They do look more like espresso or cocoa than latte, don't they? I kind of thought so, but focusing on the Genes blinded me, I think, to just how extreme it was.

If you want to create any "Lavender Latte Puffadores," by any other name, please go right ahead. I am somewhat indecisive (although "deliberate" sounds better), and may take a while to settle on exactly how to re-do this.

Anyhow, this, I think, is getting back to the latte idea--



The difficulty I am having is getting the colors light enough without them turning pink. Thoughts, Mika or anyone?

I added some cream tones to yours. Not sure you like it.

I've never seen or tasted a Lavender Latte before, but based on the images on google, I think the puff would look something more like this?

One shows everything flowers, the other has hearts (because I assume it tastes good)

Okay, so, I tried something a little bit different. Not sure if it'll work anything like you want it to, but I tried a lavender C3 so that it'll show up as accents on your genes, so it kind of looks like lavender dust floating on the design. Not sure if it gives anything like the look you were hoping for, but it's another thing to consider:
