General Information
The Nytekrie are a fearsome species that are often seen lurking in the shadows. Prefering the cover of night to hunt, Nytekries are rarely seen during the day. As with most predators of Sylestia, they care little about the current weather. With their combination of strength, speed, intelligence, and flight, one should always be cautious of what's lurking in the shadows.

Behavior
The Nytekrie are very selfish creatures. Self preservation is always their top priority. While they do care for their young, they part ways as soon as their Hatchlings can take care of themselves. This process usually takes place once a Nytekrie's wings are large enough to provide flight.

Physical Features
Nytekries are built to be a very powerful flying Sylesti. They are unique in that their wings are attached to their forelegs. This feature makes it difficult for the Nytekrie to take off without some running room. Due to their large size, they demonstrate a surprising amount of strength.
Some Nytekries have been spotted with unique armor designed with lunar symbols. This armor is thought to enhance their power when under moonlight. Other Nytekries, often nicknamed Plaguebringers, have been seen outfitted in terrifying bone armor and are usually considered signs of ominous things to come. Lastly, other Nytekries have been seen with magnificient celestial designs, often called Stardust. It is not known what causes this phenomenon.
