Inbred sylesties are Sylesties that, within a certain number of generations, has one or more ancestors in multiple places.
For example, we'll come up with some Sylesties.
Solstice the Lunemara is the son of Dune Buggy Junior and Loon. Dune Buggy Junior's parents are River and Dawn, and Loon's parents are Dusk and Sunset. Dusk and Dawn are sisters and daughters of Cloud and Dune Buggy I, both wild-caught Lunemaras, and Sunset and River are also wild-caught. Since Dawn and Dusk's offspring are related and then breed, Solstice is inbred.

Inbred in short is when the ancestors are related to eachother- if the same sylesti appears more than once in the lineage of a pet.
So if you breed pet A and B and pets C and D twice each, and get pet AB1, AB2, CD1 and CD2
AB1 and 2 are siblings and cannot breed, same for CD1 and 2 (parents/siblings/half-sibling sylesti cannot interbreed)
AB1 and CD1 breed making E1
AB2 and CD2 breed and produce F2
E1 and F2 are cousins, sharing grandparents
Any offspring produced from breeding E1 and F2 together will be inbred
I think the inbreeding calculator checks as far back as twelve generations, but I'm honestly not sure? I think I saw it mentioned at some point but I wasn't really paying attention
Example: This pet's got the same great-grandfather on both the mother's father's and father's father's side

Also here is another more complicated example (The half sister of the one shown earlier)
Her Lineage:
So if you look both of her Grandfathers on both sides are brothers and she has the same great grandparents on both of the males sides.
Hope these examples helped (I figured it would be easier to tell because of shorter lineage)

nop, there is not, the inbreeding is only there for people that are interrested to know how inbreed a pet is. (it would not make sens otherwise as most project pet are started with a low amount of pets)
