I need gold and yet I have no quests hardly. Is there a reason for this?

I don't know much about quests, but at your Level, you can begin completing missions at the Barracks in Esior's Haven as well as in the Sanctuary of Saerielle. These will earn you considerably more gold. I would recommend buying some higher-level pets for a greater chance of success in missions.
