So, I want to try out breeding when my pets are old enough, but for now I just play around with the breeding generator, but I've never seen any of the results with any mutations. Is there any way to know if breeding mutations are possible with pets before breeding them?

if you are breeding 2 pets together with 1 showing a mutation and 1 without the mutation at all it will be carried by the pet and will not show.

If you are breeding 2 pets together with 1 showing and 1 carrying, then the gene has a good chance to be showing but may only carry instead.

If you breed 2 pets how are each showing a gene in the same slot, then that gene will be visible.

If you breed 2 pets together who have a gene showing in the same spot but are showing something different, then there is a chance either design will show up or that something different will show up.

When you look at the drop down menu for the gene slot, the genes highest up are the most dominant and as you go down the list, the more recessive they become.

example: Zolnixi 1 shows gene design 1 banded stripes and Zolnixi 2 shows gene design 1 paint.

The nixi will most likely show banded stripes but could also show paint. Because the zolnixi drop down order goes banded stripes, tribal strips, then paint, there is a rare chance the nixi will instead show tribal stripes because it is more dominant than paint.

Does that help?

Thanks, that really helps make things more clear to me!
