Could someone explain how to use that Expedient Brew Agent? Every time I try to use it, I get the message "This additive can only be used after any player has created this brew one time."

I'm thoroughly confused.

You have to add at least 1 stabilisator agent before using it i think.

As the error message state, you can't use the expedient on a specific species until someone has completed that species through the normal brewing process. I believe this was done so people would have to work to get the first of any of the brewed pets and not just use the potion to achieve that.

Yes, some of the error messages can be a bit confusing even if English isn't your second language.
