So, when I chat with my friends, there's a box by my friends list. In that box is a circle next to the username. I've seen green and orange, (And yellow in the friends list box), but I now saw red.... What does red mean? It surprised me since I've been on for a long time, and I've never seen that before! If you know, please reply.
(Read this if you don't know what the colors mean)
Green: Online and Active.
Orange: Online but not Active.
Grey: Offline.
Yellow: Not sure yet.

In the chat options, it's possible to change your chat status. By changing the colour of the circle to red, that person is saying that they are "busy", or that they'd prefer not to use the chat.
