Is there ever a discount on the exceptional genetic test kit in the diamond shop?
If so, when and how much?

Yes, its at 1000 diamonds instead of 1500, so its 500 diamonds off.
Whenever diamonds go on sale, the exceptional test kit/scanner/infertility kit is almost always on sale as well for 1000 diamonds. It's never any lower than that.

Usually every festival has a diamond sale, so you can probably expect one coming soon this month for the Winter Festival. If you look back enough, there's a thread for a diamond sale around this time of month last year. o:
