Anyways, I recently got an Exceptional Grove Trap from the advent calendar, and it says it can only be used in the Lost Grove. What is this Lost Grove it's talking about?

So, you know how for the fall festival zone it was called Umbra's Veil? Well, the winter festival zone is called the lost grove.

Lost Grove hasn't been released yet. It looks like it is a new area--which is part of the Megazone scheduled to be opened sometime in Jan...
It looks like the Megazone will have a lot of new content. Here is the thread discussing it.

Ahh, I didn't realize Lost Grove was part of the Winter Festival. I thought it was part of the Megazone. Thanks for the heads up! :D

I was assuming things, because Krin talked so much about needing new traps, elixirs, etc for the Megazone. I didn't even consider that the same mechanic would be used for the winter fest as well. So I could well be mistaken.

Breaking in to say that the Lost Grove is almost definitely going to be the first area of the MegaZone, not the Winter Fest zone.
We already know that:
a) you will only be able to use MegaZone healing items in the MegaZone, not any from outside it, and we'll probably have to craft a lot of them ourselves (hence we are being given some 'starter/freebie' ones via the advent), and
b) the MegaZone will be the test ground of new/different capture mechanics that use a new type of snare which can catch any rarity of pet, with the chances of successful capture differing based on both the pet and trap rarity.
Also, there'd be no reason to give us items that would only work in an area that's going to be available for like... a month max.
