Hello fellow Sylestia players! My name is Innocentkitti. I am now 99.09% sure that King Desius isn't actually supposed to die. The lowest health I get him down to was sixty-three. After that he kept on healing himself. I had high armor, lots of potions, and each of my Sylesti were level sixty.

I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on how to defeat him, because right now it seems impossible. Do I need to wait for them to be like, level one hundred?

Anyway, to anyone who is at that point in the game, I send my biggest regards and biggest pot of luck. You're going to need it.

Hmm...My first thought was that the elements need to be fixed, but they seem alright. You could change earth to shadow for better defense, that worked pretty well for me. If you dont have 3 Party Slots, you should buy the third one. Other than that, you may want to raise the strength stat in your pets. Im pretty sure I didnt die more than once or twice, so just keep trying and youll get it. Make sure you have at least, like, 10 revival draughts and use your finisher moves a lot.

If you activated the seals correctly Desius should not have all those buffs and he would be easier to defeat. Whenever you activate a seal correctly, it should say something about it releasing a glow. Here's a quick reference to help if you decide to backtrack before facing Desius. You must have the pet in your party with the highest stats in a certain category activate the seal for you.

There is a translation of the inscription at the starting point, the translation was done by the user Sparrows, and later another user helped by describing what pets they believed would work.

If I understood well while using my pets and translator (Thansfully, using English/French seeing extra possiblity helped lots~ XP) I found out 3 of them, but I used pets with 500/600+ in the said stats, dunno if it's lower need : Alacrity : Gave me "Speed" so Agility was my pick Courage : What it gave me made me and my bf think of Strengh Cunning : Dex, first though it was Int, but seem 233 or more is good enough in that Stat~ :3 Perception : Had picked Dex, but seem it was INT, that was needed here~ XD Thanks Ekoyim~ ;3 (This have been Edited due to some mistakes~ XP) EDIT : (For those that might read only this...) Seem that pets having 200 points or more into one said stat are enough for each seals, as long as they have 200+ of THAT asked stat~ ;3

Honestly I just activated one seal but still killed him the first time with my Vene team (Yawe, Bitr, IllerBadja) all Level 60. I will admit I used Mend and elixirs but killed him in 15ish minutes.

pfft, i didn't even activate any of the seals! ya sure it took two times and a lot of exlirs and mends but i did it : D

with your pets ^^

assuming your party pets are Lava, Gingersnap and Rainbow

Lava needs more equipment, and try to get ones that are legendary or above and focused on strength first, then dexterity for him, so it would be mostly Myrmidon and ravager. Gingersnap and Rainwbow also needs more equipment, and put his points all in health, since you only have two points for now. Again, get legendary or above equipment and focus on Intel and Agility for them, so Arcanist, or illusionist since arcanists are pretty hard to get. I would advise putting Gingersnap first, Rainbow second, and Lava last. See more on equipment here. Get stocked up with exlirs and revival draughts beforehand by doing missions, so you can heal your pets and keep on going
