I've been on this quest since my starter pet was LVL 35. He's LVL 52 and I still can't defeat King Decius. I can only get his hp to 80% before all my pets die which all my party pets are above LVL 40. No mater what I do I can't defeat him. I tried solving the puzzle but that never works. I'm not sure I can advance in the main quest which kinda sucks. I recently came back after about a year of being off the site. I want to complete this dumb quest because it's so annoying. Any opinions on how to complete it or is the quest bugged and not able to be completed?

Okay, lets see your pets first. Im guessing its Calvin, Carly and Decyius. a few pointers

First of all, equipment. all of your equipment are rare or epic, which isn't very helpful. try getting legendaries and equipment that match their proficiencies. like calvin, he's attuned to air, so get him a relic that only focuses on physical attack. View my equipment guide for more

Second, their proficiencies. i would advise not putting Calvin first, since he is wind and cannot heal himself, and the first pet tends to be hit the most. I would also advise, now that your pets only have two proficiency points, spend them all on health. the rest would be covered by equipment. Otherwise, i would change have Carly first, since she's shadow and deals lots of damage and can also heal herself. I would also change Decyius to light, since shadow only heals the pet, not the whole party. and he would be put second. Calvin would be last, for it is the place where usually the pet does not get hit a whole lot.

Third, the puzzle. Even though i myself have defeated him without unlocking anything, here it is

If I understood well while using my pets and translator (Thansfully, using English/French seeing extra possiblity helped lots~ XP) I found out 3 of them, but I used pets with 500/600+ in the said stats, dunno if it's lower need : Alacrity : Gave me "Speed" so Agility was my pick Courage : What it gave me made me and my bf think of Strengh Cunning : Dex, first though it was Int, but seem 233 or more is good enough in that Stat~ :3 Perception : Had picked Dex, but seem it was INT, that was needed here~ XD Thanks Ekoyim~ ;3 (This have been Edited due to some mistakes~ XP) EDIT : (For those that might read only this...) Seem that pets having 200 points or more into one said stat are enough for each seals, as long as they have 200+ of THAT asked stat~ ;3

Thanks for the help. I was actually able to defeat king Decius after changing Decylus to from Shadow to Water. My main party I usually have Decylus first since he has the most health out of all my pets so he can take more hits. Now that he's water it's much easier since he has the ice barrier. I also figured out that puzzle finally. Anyway thanks.
