locution
noun
1.
a word or phrase, especially with regard to style or idiom.
2.
an utterance regarded in terms of its intrinsic meaning or reference, as distinct from its function or purpose in context.
Do you enjoy using extensive words? Enough so that one might consider you a sesquipedalian? Do you prefer introverted quietude over the obstreperous outer environment? If your reply was affirmative, or perhaps you could comprehend those words, then you would be felicitous to Lords of Locution.
Simply inform me of your favorite word, and you will be made a Lord (or Lady) of Locution. I am in the process of assembling some sort of badge to impart through DM.
A replete description is in the making, thank you. :)
Word of the Day
~
accismus (n) Ironic, in which a person feigns lack of interest in an item of interest
ie. 'I don't want any cake, thank you,' followed by taking another slice
