Spelf's Recipe for "Lost Grove Grind"

You will need--

A coffeemaker of some type, but it must include a coffeepot

Coffee beans

A coffee grinder

A coffeepot of Pure Lunar Water


Instructions

Measure out enough coffee beans to make two pots of coffee. Grind them in the coffee grinder and put all of the ground beans into the coffeemaker. Add the Pure Lunar Water and brew (or drip, or percolate*). Serve with cream, sugar, Fae Dust, etc., to taste. Makes 1 pot of coffee.


*If using a percolator, I recommend placing it on a bed of burning Spritely Branches.

Grove Candy Roll

Ingredients:

1 Ent Log
2 Tbsp. Nephini Dust
1 Ferrikki Orb
3 pure lunar water

Method:

Preheat oven to 200oC (180oC fan forced)
Hollow out Ent Log, remove excess dirt
Thinly slice Ferrikki orb and mix with 3 pure lunar water and 2 tbsp of nephini dust. Combine until mixture is homogenous.
Place in Ent log, and cook on high for 1 hour at 200oC (180oC fan forced) or until mixture has filled entire ent log.
Let mixture cool and harden.
Serves 4.

Squirrel Ferrikki Pot Pie

You need:
1lb Ferrikki thigh meat
3 cups Qitari Scales
5 Vulnyx Teeth, if desired
Abandoned Eggling of choice
a pinch of Nephini Dust
about 6 cups of Pure Lunar Water

Instructions:

Crust -
- crush the qitari scales until they are crumblike in texture
- crack open that eggling, discard the embryo and mix the ground scales with whatever is left, until the mixture sticks together fairly well
- divide eggscale mixture in two and refrigerate until the filling is ready

Filling -
- bring the lunar water to a boil
- cut the ferrikki meat into strips and boil until tender
- gingerly season the boiling water and meat with the nephini dust
- if a little more bite of flavor is desired, crumble the vulnyx teeth and add them too.

Final Preparations-
- roll one half of the egg and scale mixture flat and press it into a pie tin
- Fish the now-tender meat strips (and teeth, if added) out of the water and gently maul them until reasonably well shredded.
- add shredded meat to pie tin on top of bottom crust, pour a small amount of leftover stock on top.
- roll other half of scale mix flat, flop over the meat and seal into the bottom crust, trimming and crimping the edges
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is piping hot.

Floofle Flambe

You need:

1x Fire-alignment pet of choice
Cherry syrup
5-10 Faelora petals


First, hunt down a wild Ferrikki in the Lost Grove. Any will do. Once you have it cornered, order only the fire pet to attack. As soon as the ferrikki is ""defeated"", pour cherry syrup over the ashes and garnish with a few faelora petals. Makes a good field snack.

Lost Grove Tiramisu

YOU WILL NEED

9 - 15 heavy ent logs
4 cups of sylvorpa film
7 faelora petals
5 cups of zolnixi runic residue

METHOD

Hollow out 3 - 5 heavy ent logs and lay at the bottom of a pan.
combine sylvorpa film, faelora petals, zolnixi runic residue into homogenous mixture
thinly layer mixture on top of heavy ent logs.
place 3 - 5 more heavy ent logs on top of mixture
place mixture on top of new heavy ent logs
repeat process until desired amount of tiramisu is achieved
place in fridge overnight
serves 6 - 12
