Just tell me all about them. Because I f'ed up making my pet and made it male instead of female and now I'm a bit annoyed at the fact that I have to shell out my own money just to change the gender.

So please, tell me all about the currency and if it's possible to buy the gender changing thing without forking over my hard earned money.

To answer your question.

Gold is the main currency used to buy pretty much anything and found by playing the game.

AP is Advancement Points. You earn it by doing things in game. You can purchase Avatar Styles with them.

Scales are from nurturing other player's pets. You can buy items from the Scale Shop with Scales.

And Diamonds are the cash currency. You can buy them for money or buy them from other players. They are used in the Diamond Shop.

Gold: Gotta from almost everywhere. Battling, playing games, doing quests, selling stuff on the trade broker, etc etc

AP: about the same as gold really. I have a handy guide that lists exactly where to find it all under the guides forum, but it's designed to slowly accumulate as you play the game. You get certain amounts for battling strong enemies, doing dungeons and missions, breeding pets. Lots of places

Scales: Can only be gained by nurturing pets. To do so, go to your hatchery and click on the "help nurture sylesti" button

Diamonds: Can be gained by either buying them with real money through the diamond shop, or you can go to the currency exchange (under the trade tab) and buy them from other players that are selling (or list up your own gold for those with diamonds to buy from you)

Good sir (or madame? >.> I think I am now in love with you. Thank you so very much for channging the sex for me. I was like.... 6 levels in until I saw it and I just started glaring and growling at my laptop... my bf thought I was going to lose it over a virtual pet. lol ^^;
