In this RP you will be playing the role of an Orphan living in a big city during the Victorian or Great Depression Era. You will have to figure out how to survive and earn a living for yourself. You can interact with other players in this RP as well.
This is a player response game. I will give you a description of what is happening and it is up to perform your own action (Within reason of course)
Victorian Era: 1888
Great Depression Era: 1938
(Start Below)
You give a yawn, stretching as you sit in the park bench. Around you people bustle, hurrying to and fro as they head to work. A few blocks away you can hear peddlers calling from the Market Stalls and the smell of food drifts through the air, reminding you of how hungry you are. Since you got laid off as the Paper Deliverer yesterday and only have five shillings left and you knew that wouldn't go far. You would have to figure out getting money and food, preferably soon. You have to try your best to survive as Winter is drawing near and that could be the killer to homeless orphans like you.
Rules:
1. No making things appear
2. No being OP
3. No 'magical' powers
4. No "I dodged!" if I say something hit you and you were injured.
5. No controlling other in game characters
6. No time skips unless I say so
7. No doing something after I say you char didn't do it (ie. You see something but fall alseep and you can't respond "I get up and chase it")
8. No doing things that aren't feasibly possible
9. Must progress at least twice a week (Unless you notify me you are leaving)
10. No randomly changing time or terrains unless I say so
11. No controlling role play (ie. I find a river and decide realize it is a safe and drink it, I find a berry bush and realize they are safe and eat them, I find an animal and decide it wants to be friends and then we are friends.)

15. Your characters looks must reflect looks from the Era of your play choice.
16. Say you didn't read the rules on your form.

NPCS Victorian Era
London
Janice Littleton - Janice, or Jane as she prefers to be called, is the eldest out of six children. She is also the only female in her family as her mother died a year after her youngest brother's birth. She get's nervous easily and is very good at taking of others. Her father is not around much as he drinks quite a bit and works on ships. She is very reliable and good at finding food. She is mature for her age, 12, as well.
Kurt Littleton - He is the second oldest out of siblings, 10, and is very controlling. He likes playing pranks on people and is very happy go-lucky. He dislikes talking to strangers greatly and will usually make his sister talk to them for him. He steals quite a lot and is good at, bringing in most of the food for his family in the absence of his father.
Maxamillion Littleton - He is the third oldest Littleton and twin to Simon. He is a quiet and somewhat sickly child, taking after his dead mother. He depends on his siblings for pretty much everything. He goes by Maxy most of the time, rarely using his full name. He is only 9, one year younger then Kurt.
Simon Littleton - Simon, or Si as he goes by sometimes, is the younger twin. He is very loud and outspoken, taking after his brother Kurt who he looks up to greatly. He is about an houryounger then Maxy but out of the two of them he is the more mature.
Derick Littleton - Derick is 8, but out of his siblings he is the most mature beside Jane. He goes by Mars, disliking his actual name. He is the only male out of his siblings to take any interest in learning and knows how read.
Fern Littleton - Fern is named after his Grandmother, who died before he was born. He prefers to go by Frog, thinking that Fern is too feminine of a name. He is 6, the youngest out of his siblings and he follows Jane around like a shadow.
Allen Stock - He is a very prude man. He is the old doctor of Dragonrider1542 from back when she was a noble. He believes in following strict social orders and is a very law abiding man. He is caring with sick patients and lives on the outskirts of London. His prices are high and he does not usually care for free.
Dorlean Landa - Dorlean is an 18 year old run away. Her parent's we're nobles but the day they tried to marry her off to her second cousin she decided enough was enough. She took her horse Beauty and ran away to London, hoping she would be able to stay hidden in the big city.
Manchester
Scott Maxwell - Runs a small bakery stall on Market Street. He is a single father and his wife, Rose, died during the birth of his single daughter, Nina who is nine. He is 36 years old and is always willing to give what he can to the poor. He is in the middle class and decently off.
Nina Maxwell - She is homeschooled by her father, Scott Maxwell, and has a good education compared to many other children her age. She is very bright and happy and never met her mother who died when she was born. She follows her father around whenever she can and is very shy. She is also somewhat clumsy and has a habit of spilling or knocking over items at her fathers bakery stall.
Elanor Breeth - She runs a little dress store in the downtown area, she is pretty well off and has a small flat she lives in above her shop. She is 32. She has a son who is in the Navy and her Husband is usually away on fishing trips. She is a very jolly woman and enjoys the freedom she has of being on her own mostly. She inherited her store from her mother after she passed away. She is the youngest out of three children. She hasn't seen her father or two siblings since she was a small child.
Milo Tenet - Milo is 37, he is a very gruff man. His wife left him and took his only daughter, Prina, with her. He hasn't seen either of them in a long time. He runs a little blacksmith store near the slums and is known for having the best prices around Manchester.
Bristol
Luke Sturn - He is a very strong 14, almost 15, year old teenage boy. He works odd jobs around the city and never met his parents. He hops from house to house around the slums, staying with who ever will care for him. He is very protective of Josephine who he thinks of as a younger sibling even though they aren't related by blood, and the fact that she is older then him.
Josephine Burrnet - She is very good friend with Luke despite there age gap. She is 18, almost 19 and if it wasn't for her lack of money she would already be married. She enjoys being carefree and likes the rough and tumble ways of the Slums where she doesn't have to act 'Proper'. She takes care of the younger ones and other orphans around town and makes decent money that way but most of it goes to feeding all the orphan's she considers her children as she is the closest thing to a mother they will ever have out in the Slums.
Aidan Ballard - Aidan is 16 and good friend's with fellow orphan Scarlett Rose. He is very friendly and gets along well with humans and animals a like. He holds a steady job at a factory down near the docks. The pay isn't much but it is enough to get by one. He lives in the slums and always has a place to stay for homeless orphans if they need it.
Jacques Coleman - He comes from an upperclass family, always used to having money at his finger tips. He is quite kind though and likes to explore the slums, behind his parents back of course. He is 17 and he is going to university soon, his parents paying for his entire schooling. He is somewhat bold and has no fear in talking to strangers.
Eddy Worthall - He is only 22 and he married quite young. He is somewhat grumpy and let's his wife do most of the talking. He isn't very good with children although he tries his best to be a good parent his wife takes care of his children much more then he does. He run's a small bakery stand as well and lives in a small flat in the slums.
Delilah Worthall - She is 24 and very independent for a woman of her time period. She does most of the things around the house and in her and her husband's Eddy's bakery stall. She is practically the sole caretaker of her and Eddy's and she takes care of her family with pride, begrudgingly putting up with her husband for the sake of her children.
Petal Worthall - She is seven, almost eight and a very bouncy child. She loves to play with the boys, preferring tag over dolls and cooking. She is somewhat shy and she doesn't really know how to talk to adults besides her mother. She is quiet around adults, but around other children she is very loud and rambunctious. She loves kittens and has two at home, Pickles and Queeny.
Dean Worthall - He is only 13 months old and a somewhat sickly baby. He has colic and being from the slums his parents can't pay for doctor bills. His parents do what they can for him but it isn't much. He isn't excepted to live to be an adult unless he gets medical attention soon.
Bri Sutherland
- She is a very old woman, 76, and hence her old age is is somewhat controlling. She is a retired school teacher and does not put up with any nonsense. Her husband, Herbert, died when she was 21, after the birth of there third child, on a shipping related accident. Out of her three children only one is alive, her daughter Maggy.
Maggy Sutherland - She is the youngest daughter of Bri and Herbert. She never got to know her father, who died when she was five. She is 27 and the only and youngest surviving Sutherland. She looks up to her mother very much though she finds her very set in her ways and somewhat stern. She is being courted currently Jamie Lackle and hopes to be is wife one day soon in the future.
Jamie Lackle - Jamie is a News-reporter. He is in the upperclass and very well off. He is courting Maggy but he hasn't decided yet if he wishes to be tied down by marriage. He is somewhat full of himself and not to nice of a person.
Vicky Ren - Vicky is nine years old. She is rather small for her age due to malnutrition. She is mute and speaks instead through sign langue or writing. She is rather strong and smart, spending all of her time reading. She is very religious as well.
Alley Sullivan - A very cheery woman, she is a nun of Irish decent. She is an orphan who was adopted by church and if they hadn't raised she would not have even been a nun. She loves to help other orphaned children, being able to connect with them since she was one of them once. She would love to be able to go to bars and get married and have children herself but she is devoted to church and is dedicated to being a nun since she owe's her life to them.

Alley Briers - A very upbeat and kind woman, she is 23. She is co-owner of a record shop with her best friend Tessa Moon, or Moon Girl as she calls her. She came into possession of the record shop after the death of her father. She was the only left to run it and she is doing her best to keep it open during the times of the Great Depression and coming world war II.
Tessa Moon - Tessa Moon co-owns a record store with Alley Briers. She used to live in Philadelphia but came up to New York in hopes of a hob, in which she found. She is 24 and has a boyfriend, Rick Telling. She goes by Moon Girl and loves her last name, never planning to change it. She has a small friendly cat named Tina who lives at the record shop.
Rick Telling - Rick is a very sweet guy, but he is worried about getting drafted into the coming war. He is 20, 4 years younger then his girl friend Tessa. He works at a bar but helps his girlfriend out with her record shop whenever needed.
