Is this a normal thing to catch a rare thing for your first catch? Or am I a goddess?

Haha! Congrats!! He's very pretty... :D
Sometimes other people catch rare ones early on too, but it's much harder to find such nice (matching) colors and patterns! :)

Its been a long time for me, but I'm pretty sure the first catch is something special. Its an auto mate for your starter and often seems to be special.
