So I made a map showing which Sylesti species occur where.

Notes:

1. All pet species shown in bright pink, plus three of those in yellow (Kelpari, Lunemara, and Nephini) also appear in each of the Seasonal Festival Zones, in addition to the featured species for that Festival.

2. Ny'venes and Puffadores come from Ethernia, the only city in Astryl's Vale, and from nowhere else. Players cannot capture Ny'venes or Puffadores in the wild.

3. In the Lost Grove, players can also capture any of the species found in the wild in Astryl's Vale, not just Ferrikkies.

We knew this wasn't quite right (we knew several species aren't in Esior), so we went on a deliberate hunt to check.
You have every species but lune and kelp in both Umbra and Esior, but actually, of the common species, so far as we can tell;
Esior doesn't have:
Faelora, Kelpari, Lunemara, Lupora, Morkko, Nytekrie

and Umbra Forest doesn't have:
Bulbori, Kelpari, Luffox, Lunemara

(When we realised we hadn't come across any bulbs or luffs in like. an hour of wandering Umbra areas we were like "??? really?")

Hm. I need to fix it, then. However, note that I already do not show any Kelparies or Lunemaras in Viridian Meadows or Umbra Forest. That part is already correct.

Are you certain that Viridian Meadows doesn't contain any Faeloras, Luporas, Morkkoes or Nytekries, Scath?

Also, you say there are no Bulbories or Luffoxes in Umbra Forest. Am I correct in showing that there are Bulbories and Luffoxes in Viridian Meadows?

Yes, we know there aren't kelps and lunes in the first two regions, and that they aren't in those areas on the map, and the map has that information correct, I just phrased myself badly.

Yes, we are sure about the other species. There ARE bulbori and luffox in the Esior region, but not in Umbra, and there are definitely no Lups/faes/morks/nytes in Esior.

If someone else finds a bulb or luff in the Umbra region, I'll willingly acknowledge a mistake on our part, but we went on quite an extensive search of all the areas in Umbra and didn't find any at all.

i can second scath here. Viridian meadows does not contain morkko, nytekries, lupora, Faelora

Also I did just recently TWO extensive runs (hardcore parties) through all of Viridian Meadows, plus TWO separate walkthrough runs cataloguing everything...and...we got every species under the sun except for those listed, and Kelpari.

The key has the same image for both aurleons and nytekries.
Shouldn't the aurleon picture instead be (but pink)?

Don't forget those Forsaken Guardian Ny'venes~! :D I know they're not tamed, but I think they're worth mentioning~
