Ive been playing for a while now and i notice that the Trade Broker seems void of life XD, i just want to point out for everyone who doesnt know, the trade broker is an amazing way to make money and get items you want but ONLY IF PEOPLE USE IT. There are several ways you can make money in Sylestia; one being battle reward, another from random chests, sell items directly from your inventory, post the item for sale in the forums and last but not least is the Trade Broker. the Trade Broker lets you buy and sell things with little hassle or work involved, you can list things for sale directly from your inventory and even view general price ranges based on previous sales of that type of item making it a useful tool to gauge the value of your items.

Erm, may I point out how many users there are on the site so far? And right now, there's only 35 users online. Plus I've never seen the Users Online go into the hundreds... Then again I don't play all day and night.

It's only an amazing way to make money when the item(s) you put for sale are of reasonable price.

But anyways, as of now, the Trade Broker isn't going to be the very best way to get money. It's the best way to blow money with how high the prices are on everything but until a lot more people join the site, it's not that easy to earn money since most people will have the same item someone puts up for sale, so they wont bother buying it.

We had 101 online last night

Overall, I don't think it's a lack of players though. I think it's that the majority of the players don't even know the broker exists or have even considered using it. And that's what I think Yulara was trying to point out.

There are a massive amount of players with pets who are using really bad gear (like 10-20 levels old Uncommon gear). And if you browse the broker, you'll see tons of Rares or even Epics for a few hundred gold. Those are massive upgrades for nearly no cost at all. If all of the players we have that sign in every day (over 300) search and buy those upgrades, everyone would benefit. The players would have better gear for their pets and the posters would make some Gold.

And I think that's the point Yulara was trying to make.

For the expensive items (Essences, Orbs, etc), yea there aren't really enough players to make them be consistently available. At such an early stage of the game, not many players have the Gold to be able to afford those items and the ones selling won't sell them for less than their value.

So in short, if your pets need new gear, check the Broker And if you have nice items that you don't need, you could possibly profit more by placing them on the Broker than vendoring them from your Inventory.

If Trade Brokering items isn't your fancy (I personally don't like uncertainty in selling items like how long will it be up for sale or how much an item really costs), you can always "NPC sell" them (basically selling them for the few hundreds the automated item says it's worth). I usually do this since I'm a lazy bum, and as I go onward and upward through my quests, the level requirements rise as well. It's good for having a certain income when you clean your inv.

When you 'NPC sell' is that when you right click on the item & click sell when you're viewing your inventory?

To me, yup~ owo
Instead of selling to players, you can sell right
away from your Inventory if you wish~ XP
It's sometime faster for getting money, but if
you have a valuable item and selll it over the
sell price from the "NPC sell" it can give some
profits~ :3
