I started a project breeding Faelora.
I bought two Faeloras male and female with trait G2:Numbat
thinking this will come out with a full numbat only faelora I found
out just because it says NONE in the traits does not mean there is not
a hidden trait. I geneticly tested the baby and found it had hidden green traits.
Then I saw between both faelora one had a blue numbat and the other a purple...
what is the colors? Oh so confusing...and a lot of the guides are confusing too...
anyone know what happened....I know a mess.....

Also with 6 trait breeding do they all have to be a certain color?
I know blue is good...but are the other colors 6 trait breeding? Or no?

-Green is carried.
-Blue is vis.
-Purple is vis with hidden.
The fae with "blue numbat" has pure numbat. The one with purple has numbat (vis?) with another trait hidden below it. That trait does not show on the pet itself, but can be passed down to offspring.

Can you tell me what geneticly mutated means? My one with the numbat trait was geneticly mutated...does this mean I cant use this in my breeding project since it was not her original trait but she was mutated to have it? Also thank you for answering my question...I had no idea he had all these traits I wasted a lot of time on waiting for these eggs to hatch...

Genetically mutated means a mutator (greater or lesser) has been used on the pet to add a trait. Lessers add a random trait (sometimes carried, sometimes vis), while greaters allow people to choose a visible trait.
Mutated traits will pass down onto offspring.
If you want to avoid any other traits (how many are you breeding for?), you could try working with essences.

Essences cost money and diamonds...I was hoping just by luck coming across each gene in sales...I came across my one with one gene i need so if i keep looking I might get lucky I guess...but so far I purchased two males hoping they only had that one gene and both had green genes...I only need 6 specific genes and I cannot have green and purple someone said or else I wont get the one I want specificly...

Green (carried) is okay if it's the trait you need; you're just not guaranteed that it will pass on to offspring.
Fae essences are relatively cheap on the broker... I can send you one, if you want?

I would greatly appriciate that and I will look them up! So its easier to use those to get the traits? How awesome!

With essences, you can pick any trait(s) you want. I'll be sending you a regular fae cata, which means that you can choose either one visible trait or two carries. You can also pick colors, but be warned that regular essences can have a wild color swing sometimes.
