You can start replying now! Im still adding a few little details, so make sure to check back soon! You do not have to contribute to the role play aspect of this if you do not want to, but there will be events sometimes where being in the role play will make it more fun and interactive. You are, of course, free to just post a recipe, or come in and use some recipes without anyone knowing you visited.
As you step into the small cottage, a strong smell of fresh apple-pie engulfs you, drawing you in further. The walls are brick and three large fireplaces are lined up against the right wall. The room itself is quite spacious and is much bigger than the outside of the cottage would appear. There are three long countertops made of smooth marble. Underneath the tops is lined with wooden cabinets and drawers. On the opposite side of the room at the head of the middle island, stands a cheerful, friendly figure of a young half-human, half-elf woman. A small female Puffadore sat on the corner of the countertop in front of the girl.

Welcome, welcome! She says excitedly, gesturing towards an open spot at one of the islands. There are already a few people gathered, and you are greeted by them with open smiles. The woman speaks again- My name is Lucy. This is Cookie. Go ahead and introduce yourself and your Sylesti to everyone. She smiles as you introduce yourself and welcomes you for the third time, this time with your name. You take your place at an empty space, and look along the table. On each table, there are four identical stations, with enough space for two people and two Sylesti at each one. Each station has a variety of spices, cooking and baking ingredients, pots, pans, utensils, and more.

This is the Sylestian Cooking and Baking Club! Bring yourself and a Sylesti Companion and come cook and bake with us! Anyone and everyone is welcome here. Whether you think youre skilled or not, whether you know good recipes to share or are here to learn good recipes, we love having you and hope youll keep returning! We have special events sometimes where you and the others at your station can work together to compete against other groups. We will constantly be updating the Recipe of the Week, and you might win a special prize if you make the Recipe of the Week and submit a few pictures as well as a short review.

As you finish reading, a figure steps out of the forest a few feet away.

Hello. The man says in a rather monotone voice. I suppose youre here as part of Lucys club. I am her father, Xander, and I take care of any special announcements and honors and stuff like that. The Nyvene with him turns around and lifts off the ground, flying swiftly away until she is nothing more than a speck on the distant horizon. That was Lilith. She only comes around on special occasions to help Lucy set up events. Youll see her appear somewhere a few days before a special event.

You somehow find yourself upstairs. Its a well kept open space, with comfortable looking nests laying in corners on the floor and on top of boxes. There is a window right next to you, as well as one on the far end of the room. The space in the middle of the floor is covered with playful, happy looking baby Sylesti. From the corner just to your left, an adult female Faelora stands up from a nap and greets you with a sniff. An energetic Qitari just out of her teenage years trots over and gives you an excited whinny. A rather large male Luffox appears from somewhere behind you and rubs against your leg. From the window next to you, you hear the gentle fluttering of delicate wings as a beautiful Nephini girl lands on the window sill.

You notice the only door in the room open slightly, and a tall, slender elf follows an injured baby Kelpari out.

The woman notices you and gently scoops up the Kelpari, walking over to you and introducing herself in a quiet voice as Tara, Lucys mother, and the caretaker of injured and baby Sylesti. You introduce yourself, and ask why there are baby Sylesti everywhere.
These are all orphans and injured Sylesti weve taken in. A lot of them have developed a fondness for baking and cooking from Lucy, so youll probably see them around sometimes. These four in particular- Tara gestures toward the older Sylesti who greeted you -are looking for homes away from here now. Theyll be around downstairs more often, and theyre trying to find suitable owners from the people who come here. Rose here especially likes cupcakes. Mango is unusually fond of fruit salad. Kiwi loves anything with cheese. And Blueberry here doesnt seem to like eating anything in particular, her favorite food changes every week. It takes a day or two to figure out what she likes. We arent quite sure whats Blueberry likes this week.
Tara gave Rose the Faelora a playful tap on the nose, Mango the Qitari a pat on the neck, Kiwi the Luffox a scratch on the head, and Blueberry the Nephini a tickle under the chin.
Theyll go home with whoever makes their favorite food first. Even if it doesnt turn out perfect, they appreciate effort people put into their food.
