Based after a book series by Shannon Messenger, but also open to non-readers. The plot will not be the same, characters will not be the same, just the world and its rules.
There are two schools in the world of the elves. Fox Fire Academy is the most famous one... while the other is Exilium. Exilium is for the bad students. The ones that were forced to leave Fox Fire or have destroyed cities and lives- even if it was an accident. But something is wrong now...
...a Pyrokinetic has risen. He will send the city of Eternalia and everywhere else into the flames of Everblaze (a fire that always burns and can only burn).
With the Council in Panic, students from the schools must join together. The most skilled are brought to meet and are to be trained to save them all- even if it means sneaking into the Forbidden Cities of the Humans.

If Exilium, why are they there?:
His anger got out of hand once, and he nearly hurt someone by forcing them to cause themselves harm. He doesn't talk about it often.

Mesmer
Mesmers are elves with the special ability to put people in trances and control them. They are very rare and monitored by the Council because they can be dangerous and use their ability for evil instead of good. Mesmers are able to force people to do anything that they command. Their victim(s) are fully conscious during the mesmerizing process, just unable to stop it. People with strong wills are shown to be able to resist the mesmerizing process. In addition, it's harder to mesmerize large groups of people.

Family Crest Description:
The Sarcelle family crest is of a silver crescent moon and a red rose in front. The Sarcelles are usually Polygots or Empaths, rarely Beguilers, so Eli was different. His mother was Talentless, though his father cam from a prestigious bloodline, they were considered a bad match.
Three Skills:
+ Strong abilities
+ Smart; that is, unless angry
+ Physically and Mentally strong
Three Weaknesses:
- Anger issues
- Low control over power
- No people skills
Personality:
Eli is a control freak who wants most everything to be orderly and clean. He avoids large crowds or groups because he gets easily infuriated by those who don't understand the concept of personal space. Kole feels he doesn't need to depend on anyone- after all, if he does everything himself, why would he ever need them? Eli may have a bad temper but he really is loyal and understanding if he trusts you and gets to know you.

Conjurer
Conjuring is a special ability. This ability allows Conjurers to make objects appear as long as they know where it is. Conjuring is a process which involves the access of the void. In the void, there are tangles of "threads" that interconnect different things. To conjure, a conjurer pulls on the thread to call forth the object. Conjurers can also tie a "thread" onto someone who is not a Conjurer so that they can pull the object of out the void with a special word.

The family crest is a pair of wings folded around the sun as if protecting it. The Eleros are from a long bloodline of falconeers and caretakers of winged creatures. They are a well known family and are very wealthy.

Three Weaknesses:
- Impulsive to the point where it's bad
- Not very serious
- Hates swimming, fear of drowning
Personality:
Samirah is carefree and hates being confined in spaces or being held back by unfair rules. She's fiery and brave, and doesn't hold back her opinions. Sam is flirty and always loves to meet new people. She knows she's funny too, constantly wisecracking or spouting random jokes and stupid puns in an attempt to get people to laugh. She always loves a good prank. However, this doesn't mean she can't have awkward moments. She will rarely admit that she's clumsy, though she is.

Empathy is the special ability that allows an elf to sense emotion. An Empath senses emotion through physical contact, though some powerful elves don't have to make physical contact with certain people to sense emotion. Empaths can detect lies because of the guilt felt that comes with the lie; however, sometimes elves can evade this.

Kean isn't the best person to really work on an assignment with. He tends to gravitate to trouble, playing pranks on people just for fun or for revenge. He teases people often, and usually masks most of his emotions under jokes and banter. He's nice enough around people, but he will try to hide hurt or pain if he feels weak.

Personality: He is often upset because of how weird his life in general is. He has shamed his family while his sister tackles every trial, even if she is missing two of her fingers. He wonders what would have happened if he had not thrown the knife that day.
