I am stuck on King Desius from the "Forgotten Tomb". My party has pets at level 50 and I still can't get even close. Does anyone know what the best method to beat him is? I am open to trying anything, whether it be stat breeding or armor... the problem is, I don't have a lot of gold, and a lot of these methods cost a lot. Any suggestions?

I'm probably not the best person to answer this, but I beat Desius with my starting pets and a random capture at level 51-52.

- I ran water in slot 1, then fire and light. Wind over fire would be better (I'm assuming), but I'm used to fire at this point.
- If you correctly mess around with all four seals (spoilers technically I guess, there's other posts on the battle), then Desius does negligible damage - especially if you keep ice shield up on your slot 1.
- Enter the battle with full mana, poke bandits or something if you feel like generating mana that way.

I brought along three revives and don't remember using any. Hopefully this helps; good luck!

Thanks for the help! That actually is very useful. I might have to see about changing my team up. Water seems like it would be useful to have here. I'll also see if I messed up the seals by mistake. I know there are some posts on here about the seals, so I'll check one of them out. Thanks for your time!
