So I recently bought some pets that can regenerate traits and colors(of course I already regenerated them) and I was wondering how to get pets like these without paying 50k or more. Do you get them in the wild, breed them. And if they are from breeding if I already regenerated them and breed them with the same ability (wether used or not) will the baby get the ability. Or because the parent(s) have already been regenerated did the baby not get it?

(Sorry if its to long or confusing. I was away from home and had to use my grandpas phone since mine died xD)

Regens occur when a species gets a revamp, or a complete remaking of the art. The most recent revamp was lups, but other ones from recent years include puffs, venes, morks, and lunes. Because traits move slots or sometimes are altered nearly beyond recognition, some pets trigger regens and can have their traits and/or colors reassigned.

It does not pass on to offspring. If a regennable pet has children, those pets will inherit nothing from the unassigned trait points.
After a pet's been regenned, future offspring will inherit traits and colors based on the regen design.

It is permanent and cannot be undone, barring certain situations where things change after you've regenned a pet and Krin may allow you to redo the regenning process.

Aside from buying, really the only way to get regen pets is to have pets of a species that gets revamped. Post-revamp, some of those pets will likely become regennable.

Also, they don't have to be 50k+, depending on what you're looking for. If you want full 12TP and color regens, then they'll be more expensive. But like, I have some PB regen lups for sale, most for under 5k. They don't have many traits, and some have traits "locked in" (those trait slots aren't regennable). I'm sure there are others like mine out there. Unfortunately there's no filter for regens on AS yet, but if you're willing to look around, you should be able to find some.

Comprehensive guide to regens here.
