Hello! I am a returning player that was on a long haitus...I came back yesterday and I am trying to remember how to do everything...but it also seems a lot of things have changed...

So I understand how to use my proficiency points but what happened to my level up points? My one zolinxi Fawn just leveled up so I went to allocate points and I cannot find where to do it. I thought it was on there pet page but I dont see where.

Has this changed?

Im sorry for such a stupid question but I feel like a complete noob after coming back...^^;

The entire proficiency system was completely overhauled- Level-up points no longer exist.
Instead, rather than pets getting a flat bonus from every prof point and having variance and bonus added by level-up points, now the bonus that pets get from assigned prof points scales as they level, eg, a lv0 pet with 1 point in Agi gets +20, at lv60 that same 1 point will get +191, and at lv70, +299.

so to make sure I understand, the level up affects only where you have allocated proficiency points?

also, is there an updated battle guide...because the one I was using is apparently not applicable since there is no more level up points.

level up points are not a thing anymore, like Scathreoite said, the stats are naturaly boosted at each level without you having to control them. The proefiencies have also been upgraded to allow it to be your main way to set and control your pet stat and type.

Hopefully it all worked out for you! It looks like you have a pretty balanced team. :)

The best guide I've seen for the new system is Rixvas battle guide.

I like the new system much more than the old one! It is more powerful, easier to use, and less fiddly. Basically, you set proficiencies at levels 0, 30, 60, 65, & 70. All the levelling up is done automatically from there. :)

Looks like you have it all sorted, but if you have any more questions, just pop us a ping. Most things should be straightforward, until you get to the lost grove, which is completely new (and requires its own strategy, challenges, etc.) and more difficult. (Krin says its the shift from "easy" mode to "intermediate")

One more thing...totally unrelated to post but I figured I could ask here instead of starting a new thread.

Can you still find "abandoned" eggs while exploring? I remember that that was one of my favorite things to do and I haven't gotten one yet. I was wondering if its harder to find them now or if they disabled that feature?

Yeah, you can, but now they pop up as golden nests on the screen. They are pretty rare most of the time, but are more frequent during the seasonal festivals (in the festival maps).
