I am looking at purchasing some pets, but I'm concerned about not having space for them.
1. How quickly do adolescents age into adults? I'm thinking of getting some adolescents and I don't want them getting released
2. Are people usually amicable to holding onto a pet they are selling while a buyer saves money or frees up space? Are there any conventions surrounding a practice like that?
3. Any general advice for someone in my situation?
Thanks in advance

(taken from Faiona's Tips for Newbies thread):
It takes roughly 72 hours (3 Days) for a newborn Eggling to become a Hatchling.
It then takes roughly an additional 144 hours (6 Days) for a Hatchling to become an Adolescent.
It then takes an additional 18 Days for an Adolescent to become an Adult.
As for holding pets, I generally would, but I don't know about other people. Most should, though.
Tips for limited space? Use this guide to get more gold for new stable tabs (or you could put some of your existing pets up for sale, though I personally don't like selling pets I've bonded with)

What Lucario said above is pretty accurate. To expand on the question of holding pets - yes, many people are willing to reserve pets for sale. PM the owner and politely ask about reserving a pet to your ID until you can save up.
Some people may have time limits (e.g. pick it up in two weeks or it goes back to public sales). But generally, if you're polite, many people are willing to hold sales pets for interested buyers.

Just a quick note: Check prices against what others are selling for similar pets. THeemds are more expensive, fabled and exclusives are evne more, combine them and from what i can tell, my silver bells Rikki went for about 30k, and when i went to purchase an orca qit it cost 100k
So just be warned. And know what ou want or else you'll end up like me-with no room for anything
