You cant use a pet with a higher level than your user level (youre 26 right now). If you cant get through just do a bit of leveling in a lower area and come back to it. Also check your pets to make sure they have the appropriate proficiencies and armor. Theres a bunch of guides that can help you with this if you need guidance.

Proficiencies are stats that you give your pets. For example if you want to make a pet with high physical attack power, you put your points into strength. The element that you give your pet determines their role in your party, not what enemy they are strong against. Air pets have attacks that make them ideal as a damage dealer but not so much a healer.
