The object of the game is to use the clues given to fill in the blanks. The theme of the crossword is types of creatures in the ocean that are either alive, extinct or myth.

Rules

1. You must complete the crossword puzzle by yourself, do not post any answers anywhere on Sylestia.

2. After completion you must upload your crossword puzzle to an image upload site, like http://imgur.com. If you choose to print out the word search, then you will need a way to scan the completed word search back onto your computer.

3. After you are finished you then need to send a PM to Officialgames with your complete crossword image and title the PM 'Deep Sea Crossword'.

4. Please do not PM me with your crossword image, it will not count if you do this. Please also do not PM me asking me to check your crossword to see if you've gotten it right or if it's been sent.

5. The due date for this is at the end of the festival.

Prizes


There will be 3 prizes given, 1st/2nd/3rd place. Everyone who submitted a correct puzzle will be placed in a random drawing, the three names who come up on top will be the winners.

Does 5 down begin at the square with the 5 in it, or the square above?

Things I've learned from this crossword:

1. Mouthbrooders are disgusting to me.
2. Thank goodness the super predator is extinct, that thing is cray to think about.
3. The fish for 10 down is very interesting, I never knew about the male giving birth :)

Seems like it begins where the 5 is. (If not, then I got the wrong answer.)

Is there anyway to get another clue for 8 down?? I keep trying to find the answer but keep getting everything else about hunting than fish..

Hi there! If there seems to be a consistent basis of people saying that #8 is too hard then I will give some additional clues. Since I just posted the puzzle today and there hasn't been much feedback I would prefer to wait until I give out anything. :)

That is fine.. I found an answer that fits that spot.. Not sure if it is correct though.. But that is okay with me..

It took me a while but I made it! ^-^ #8 gave me a lot of trouble but I managed to find it after searching for like 10 minutes, attempting at least 20-25 different searches titles in google xD I was about to give up for today and wait for some more clues on #8 but I found it while scrolling...
