i dont have any and was wondering how to get them and what they can be used for,thank you

Sun tokens can be found while battling enemies and bosses while in the event zone, Esiors Cove. You can also find them in chests! They can be used for buying items in the festival shop.

Just to add on, they can also be obtained by tending to other players' sand sculptures- about 2-5 tokens per tended sculpture
Used in festival shop, or for buying sand boxes.
Some players will trade for Tokens
If you have leftover tokens either in your inventory or unused in the 'bank' (whatever you want to call where the tokens go once Used from the inventory so you can buy things with them) will become Tarnished Sun Tokens at the start of next year's summer fest (along with all other summer fest crafting and seeking items (catalysts, shovels etc.))
expired festival tokens are worth 500g each when sold to the site from the inventory (hence (an amount that can stack immensely if you have a lot of them)

how do i tend other people sand sculptures? and how do i start my own?

You nead to use the right sand agent to increass the sculpture progress, unless there is a quick drying agent it you can only do it once an hour on each catalysts.
To start a catalyst you have to pay 5000g to set sand in your box and then click on it to select the catalist you want to use you nead to own it for the thing to work. Once your catalyst is set you can add the pearl and others items on it. ^-^

i added a catalyst to sand box, and now what do i do? how do i get the things to add, and when will it turn into a pet?

what? no, you have 2 free sand box that won't go away and then you can pay for more that are 1 use only this have nothing to do with making pets, just how mutch you can do at the same time. You already setted a luffox in one of your free sandboxes and the other is empty, it's the one you want to click before selecting the purchase option.

You can add a pearl to get visible traits, coating for gender, sea pebbles for traits slot and Enriched Sand for ressessive traits. Tend to it often and once the progress bar is at 100% you will be able to collect the egg.

it becomes a egg when you finish. if you dont finish it by the end of fest as long as it has a pearl it will get auto finished and sent to ur hatchery
