I honestly have no idea how to find them in my wardrobe, or what it even is. There was no real name for it...it just said

I went to my inventory and 'used' the item, but I can't find it anywhere in the wardrobe, as I have no idea what it is I'm even looking for, though I have looked through all of the pages.

So with the Avatar Item (Summer - Retired) items you get an avatar item. You then use the avatar item, then you have to go through your wardrobe till you find it.

So there's no real way of knowing what tab it would be in or what kind of wearable item it would be other than to click through page by page.Yes?

Well, the avatar item will show up in your inventory when you use the box. When you use the Avatar Item (Summer - Retired), it should have a little popup with the name of the item, and then the item will be in your inventory for you to use or sell as you please. It sounded like you thought the item would automatically go into your wardrobe, so I wanted to clarify.

With the item in your inventory, you should be able to see if it's an outfit, a head, a held, etc. They will all be festival items, so in the largest middle section of items with the little sun icons in the wardrobe. And when the avatar item is sitting in your inventory, you should be able to see its rarity - legendary (yellow) are towards the front, epic (purple) are in the middle, and rare (blue) are towards the back. So you may not know exactly where it is, but you can get a decent idea just by looking at the item before you send it to the wardrobe.

No,I knew it went to inventory and you had to 'use' the item to send it to wardrobe, it just didn't display a name of the item before sent it to my wardrobe, so I had no real way of finding it other than clicking through.
But I ended up finding it finally!

When an avatar item is in your inventory, if you hover over it with the mouse, the name of the item should be in the little popup box. (if you're on mobile, pressing and holding usually brings up the box). The retired item box should also tell you what item you get when you open it. But ah, well, glad you found it anyways
