Many questions...

1. What is the difference between the stats of a max stat and a non max stat before spending proficiency points?

2. Does the stat points a proficiency thing adds have anything to do with a pet being max stat?

3. Has anyone defeated the Behemoth in the lost grove without a max stat party?

4. What does dex, or intel, or agility do in a battle?

Max stats/superstats have the maximum amount of stats available without leveling. (I believe its 100 in each stat, 200 in mana, and idr for health but don't qoute me on that)

No. Stats come from breeding or for superstats, the Lost Grove,

I believe I did, but don't quite remember. Pretty sur e I did though-but i used a lot of switchings, potions, and revives. But it's possible.

They help enhance certain elements and help deal more damage/take less damage, etc.

1.)
A max stat pet have it's base stat boosted to the maximum possible. At level 0, while a wild pet would have on average a base stat ranging between 10-20 as well as around 100 mana and somwhere around 800hp, a max stat however would already have it's base 100 stat, usualy betwen 100 to 200 mana(the mana boost is still recent) and 2000hp.

Both type of pets have the same level up stat added on top of their base stat.

3.)
I cant tell, but i did it without any healer pets so if you get the right equipement and max out your skills before hand you may get a chance with the right team. ^-^

1. The difference between the stats of a max stat (or super stat) and a non max stat is the amount of base stats. A max stat should have 100 of strength, agility, intelligence, dexterity, 2000 health, and 200 (recently raised) mana. The proficiency points just add to the overall stats and not the base stats.

2. For the second question I do not believe it does because max stats have to do with the base amount of str, intel, agility, dexterity (100 for a maxed stat), health (2000), and mana (200). Adding proficency points adds to the overall stats and not the base stats.

3. The answer to your third question is yes. I am one of the many players that has defeated the Behemoth with a nonmaxed stat party. Ageni, Stripes, and Stella.

4. Dexteriy increases critical hit chance, accuracy bonus, and increases the quickness rating. Intelligence and strength essentially do the same thing increase damage and mitigation. If you have stregth then it is phyiscal and if you have intelligence you have magical damage and magical mitigation. Agility increases physical mitigation, magical mitigation, increased avoidance chance, and increases the quickness rating.

I hope these answer your questions.

1- Max stat just means 2000 HP, 100-200 mana*, and 100 str/int/dex/agi
(* technically 200 is now the max mana, but that hasn't really been achievable until the recent alteration of the prisma to include a mana boost, the introduction of a dedicated mana philter, and hatchlings getting +1 mana for five correct nurtures if all their other stats are maxed, so '100+ mana' was the accepted max until recently)

Superstat pets are those that have base stat + wild stat that equal over 100
Supermax are those that are max stat but also have wild stats

2- proficiency stat gains are the same for all pets- it depends entirely on the pet's level and the number of proficiency points assigned.
a lv1 pet with 1 point in one of str/int/dex/agi prof gets +22 from it, lv 30 pets with 1 in one of str/int/dex/agi get +86, a lv30 with 2 gets +129, a lv60 with 1 gets +191, with 2 gets +287, with 3 gets +430.

3- yes absolutely. We did, for a start (our main team has stats in the high 70s-low 80s)

4-
Str: Increases Physical damage and defence, used by Physical elements (water, earth, air) (Physical Damage: damage output of the pet, determines how much damage their attacks can do. Pets with a Magical element cannot make use of the Physical Damage stat, which this affects)

Int: Increases Magical damage and defence, used by the Magical elements (light, shadow, fire) (Magical Damage: damage output of the pet, determines how much damage their attacks can do. Pets with a Physical element cannot make use of the Magical Damage stat, which this affects)

Dex: Raises Critical hit chances and accuracy, increase in quickness. (Crit: pet deals double damage to foe, allows Air pets to inflict Bleeding debuff with Slash, chance for Fire pets to inflict Burning debuff on foes)(accuracy: allows pets to hit enemy with high evasion)(quickness: decides order that battle participants move)

Agi: Raises both physical and magical defence, raises evasion, raises quickness (evasion: better chance to dodge attacks)
