When you are exploring the lost grove, do your pets slowly heal by themselves without you having to do anything or do you have to use those expensive LG potions on them for them to heal >.<

Or do you have to exit the zone for them to heal by themselves?...

You have to leave for them to heal by themselves. You can also unlock a building that lets you pay either gold or mender's talismans to heal your pets from within the grove.

Hello again XD Im a noob

First of all, what are altering ticks...?

Second, I still don't quite understand...so do party pets heal by themselves when exploring the lost grove without you having to use grove potions and elixirs, or do you have to exit the zone or something O.o

They don't heal by themself, but you don't have to use items either. Once you unlock the building you can return there to heal for a cost (which is much cheaper than the items). Or you can exit and wait for them to heal for free. Another option is to train up a good light pet, who uses mana to heal your party.

OK, thanks! XD

(one more question I feel kinda stupid now...
say I have a max stat pet and when it is at level 0 it has 2000 hp. If I level it up it will increase in it's stats right...)

a 'tick' is basically just... daily rollover at midnight is a 'tick', pets regaining HP and losing mana every... 5 minutes? 15? (I cannot remember) is a 'tick'; basically, you can think of it like a clock ticking and going "at this time, x event happens"

Pets' Base stats don't change, but they get stats from other places
Their active stat is, and let's just use HP as the example:
Base stat (in the case of a max stat, 2000. Includes wild stats if the pet has them)
+
Level bonus (+1 per level, so a lv5 has +5 lv bonus, a lv70 has +70)
+
Proficiency (depends on the pet's level and assigned prof points)
+
Equipment (depends on the equipment)

You can see what the exact numbers by hovering over the active stat* in the pet's profile to get a popup that gives the breakdown.
(*ex: "Str: 15 (11+4)", 15 is the 'active' stat, "Strength: 221 (17 + 29)", 221 is the active stat, just to clarify our usage)
