Hello!
I have a question about the Trick or Treat. The other day, it let me choose from lots of items to give out, but now it's only letting me give out essences and pet dyes, neither of which I really want to give out at the moment. Why is it doing this? My inventory has not changed, I still have the avatar items I was planning on giving as gifts.
Thanks!

You can only give epic and legendary and above items
No brewing agents-those were removed
Rare items aren't allowed if they're avi items

Thank you!
Well that stinks. So now only older, richer players can give out gifts. That's completely unfair if you ask me.

The limit on what items can be given out is something that started in previous years. Not this year. I noticed that some items, brewing items in particular, were still showing up in ToT this year and have since disappeared. I think what likely happened is some items were accidentally not banned and Krin fixed it. It was a big. Not a feature.
The limit was originally put into place to prevent players from spamming other with low cost and extremely common items. You could see this a few days ago with players complaining about only receiving brewing agents. It has been a bigger problem in the past with player sending thousands of vines and pumpkin baskets through ToT (good times ^__^). This was not the intention of ToT so the ban was implemented. Now you should only receive quality items.

I am confused.
I can give out gummy puppy tail, spectral essence, sugar and spice and vampire dust. I am looking at the select an item screen right now. (I don't have any other brewing item in my inventory that can be given out)

I thought they meant brewing items (as that is what was said before) and not just the boxes of agents.

Sorry for the confusion. I used a generic term because I hadn't personally checked to see if the other brewing items had been blocked like I knew for sure the agents had been. I figured it got the point across well enough.

Okay, thanks. I just wasn't sure because I had been able to send various brewing items, just never bothered to try with the actual brewing agents.
