I've been pretty much out of the game for a while and there have been a lot of changes, and I've forgotten a few things. Is there a way to search the forums? I'm vaguely recalling something about a way to max the stats of pets through battling, so they would be on-par to those bred for it, but the stats would not be inheritable. I'm hoping to put some work into my favorite generated pets during the winter festival, if I can!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as would pinging me in any replies, thanks!

For the search in the forum, asside from simply looking around there is the advenced search but it's only for players/pets.

What you are speaking was the "pet prestige" witch is far from emplemented yet, it was mostly an idea that Krin had brough up at the start of this festival.

Lakarr, I dont know how long you have been away... have you been around since the Lost Grove opened up?

If you battle in the Lost Grove (or in the fest's Maws of Madness), you build up "ranks" for each attack. These end up much more powerful than stats at the higher ranks!

But ranking up takes a looong time, and the lost grove is tough at level 60, rank1...

The "prestige" idea was to boost the stats themselves, and that was just an idea that Krin decided not to implement right now due to a lot of issue that need to be worked out first.

Wild stats come from catching strong pets in the Lost Grove, or from breeding to those pets. Wild stats do not come from battling at the moment.

Thank you for the info! I pop on a few times throughout the year, usually to work on breeding projects. I glance through the announcements when I'm on, but don't necessarily retain all of the pertinent information. I've run around the lost grove a bit, but haven't had the time to really grind through it.
