Just curious how long does it take for a pet to be revamped because I am not a fan of nytekries but I may start breeding them just for the revamp.
And which species still need to be revamped?

Im not sure on that, but Id guess a few to several months? I imagine it depends on what else, site-wide, is going on and/or what other things need to be done, and how important/crucial they are.
I know next on the list is the Faelora, followed by the Bulbori and/or Luffox, I think? Besides those, Ive heard at some point, the Nephini, Lighira, and Aeridini are going to be revamped, as well.

I like the general design of them (Same with the Lighira.), but I have noticed, even among the offspring of the one pair I have, certain colors are kind of washed out or dull, and if there are too many visible traits, said traits sort of blend together, and so become rather indistinguishable from one another. I cant think of a baby that reflects the latter thing ATM, but I definitely have one that illustrates the former. This guy, specifically:
So the way I see it, maybe all that would need to be done with the species is intensify and/or sharpen certain colors, and improve the layering & perhaps arrangement of certain traits relative to one another.

Yeah. I like their overall look (so wiry and light compared to the rest) but...yeah.
The aetidinis are meh, the males feel kinda heavy compared to the females for me :p

The issue of washed-out colors isn't a fault of the species. It's the result of breeding colors that don't match well. Such washed-out ("dishwater") pets exist in pretty much all species.

Yeah diswashed pets are annoying. That's why I breed pets with similar colors or with colors that I think would suit well. For example, blue and purple or red and white
I would love to start breeding some nytes for the revamp but two things. 1) I don't really have any nytes as of now so that's gonna be annoying and 2) They barely have any traits (same with the bulbori's)

Ah, I see. *Nods*. These are the parents of the guy I posted above:
I attributed his washed-out colors to design because this guys parents are the same:
Yet his colors are less washed-out than his brothers.
