Hello does anyone have any advice I'm trying to battle in the Shrine 9th with the multiple armies and keep losing the only advice I've got so far if I take out stronger permanence but my party keeps "dying"

You might want to make one of your party members a light pet. Theyre healers and will help you battle for longer.

make sure:
1- your tank is in slot 1 of the party (pet generally with focus on Agi over Dex, usually has at least one prof in either HP or Agi) (tanks are usually Water, Earth, or Shadow)
2- make sure you know what equips the pets want in relation to their part position
Light Healer: Evoker (Int/Dex)
Magic-element Tank: Illusionist (Int/Agi) (Shadow/Light, usually Shadow)
Physical-element Tank: Assassin (Str/Agi) (Water or Earth elements)
Magical Attacker: Evoker (Int/Dex) (Usually Fire, but Shadow possibly)
3- both the level and rarity of equips play a role in how good the equip is stat-wise
4- if you're meaning Mobs that replenish (eg, take out one enemy, it's replaced by another)
The trick is generally "Focus on one slot out of the three enemy slots", so you have two that stay relatively weak, and you bottleneck all the stronger ones into appearing one at a time.

The biggest things I noticed were these.
. Both Georgia and Mikki have pieces of equipment that dont suit the element each one is attuned to.
- Since Georgia is a Shadow pet, she needs to have Illusionist, Evoker, or Arcanist equipment, in that order. The last piece of equipment she has is Assassin gear, which is better suited to Air, Water, and Earth pets. So all you need to do is replace that with gear from one of the three categories I listed above (or some other piece of equipment that does magical, rather than physical, damage).
- All of Mikkis gear except the last piece needs to be switched out. Because shes a Water pet, the abilities the element shes attuned to provide are best strengthened with equipment that does physical damage. The best category for that is Assassin gear, but you could use Myrmidon and/or Ravager gear too (and any other, non-categorized type that does physical damage) until you get more of the first type I listed.
A Note: Never ever give a battle pet Disciple gear. While logically, equipment that does multiple types of damage would seem to be better than equipment that does a single type, the battling mechanics of this particular game make that ineffective for whatever reason. Its best to use that gear type for Mission Pets, particularly those that do missions requiring high health/HP.
. You need to give Aquamarine a full set of equipment. She wont be an effective battle pet without that. For her, use, in order, Arcanist, Evoker, and/or Illusionist gear.
Other things.
. If you havent unlocked your third party pet slot yet, you need to do that as soon as you can. I found that was one of the main keys to getting past the part of the game storyline youre currently at. Ill describe the other down below.
. Either designate another of your pets a Fire pet, or change one of the ones youre currently using to a Fire pet (Its possible to do that if you have enough gold to pay for it.). Attuning a pet to that element makes it able to target multiple opponents at the same time, which is a huge help when dealing with a steady stream of them (i.e. when you defeat one opponent, another immediately takes their place), so long as you target the different categories of opponents in the right order.
Heres a good guide that goes into more detail about all this stuff: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=45988&page=1#6. Good luck 8).
