We have now released the new and shiny Avatar Shop! You can access it at any time via the main menu under Shops -> Avatar Shop or by clicking the link below:

While, technically, nothing has changed from the original Avatar Shop, we have improved a few things - especially on the back end. The biggest and most exciting change is the addition of (their now official name) [Peerless Avatar Tokens]!



These are basically just a pseudonym for the previous "Forum Game Avatar Item". However, instead of sending the winners of these items a PM and asking what they want while trying to explain what they can choose from... we will now instead just award them a token that they can then either sell to another player or spend and buy something directly from the Avatar Shop. This should make it easier for both us and you guys moving forward.

Additionally, the shop has received an obvious interface update and a massive backend upgrade which will make it a lot easier to manage and update over time as we look to add new items.

I did remove the individual categories for Held/Outfit/etc in order to save time and get this pushed out as quickly as possible, however. While the items are still auto sorted in such a way that it should be predictable to navigate through the pages to find what you're looking for, I may add the categories back in later on as the shop grows and the page numbers get longer.

Question: Are items going to be added that are more than 1 token? Because I'm considering buying something, but I dunno if I should save up tokens or not.

I'm not going to promise that no item will ever be listed for more than 1 Token, but at this point in time, there is no plan to add any items listed for more than 1 Token.

Hi! This looks really nice! ^-^ As I've only been here since spring and still don't really understand everything, I was wondering, how do we get those tokens? Are they like rewards for sone contests or something? :)

Well, I enjoyed my time as the only player who owned a Rainbow Snail Spriteling.

It's good that other people will be able to enjoy them.
