So I have been trying to beat the Army of Undead since the Summer of 2019 and I've gotten as far as the Undead Mages. Unfortunately, they love to drain my entire team's health within the span of a few moves. The mages are Level 37(if I remember correctly), and I am Level 47 but STILL can't beat them!
If you have any tips, please let me know! I've been stuck on that fight for way too long...
(If there's already a guide for this, then please direct me to it.)

Getting a third party slot will be super helpful. With your current team I recommend getting a light pet next to be your healer.
Heres the walkthrough if you need it.
Edit: never mind just found your third party member. Your proficiencies are actually a bit wonky. Light pets should have intelligence and dexterity to increase the damage they do and therefore how much they heal. Shadow pets should have agility and health to be good tanks. Fire pets should be the same as light pets to increase their damage. Its the same when picking equipment for your pets. You play to their strengths. And make sure your tank is in the first party slot so that they show up in the middle of your attack party.

What's quite interesting is...I have all tree party slots unlocked. I also have a light element healer. I will be sure to check out that walk-through though.
EDIT: My shadow is first, my fire is second, and my light is third.

Also, you'll want to only attack one slot at a time, as if you do this right then you'll only have to face one mage at a time rather than all three at once. You'll sort of bottleneck them, I think is the term?

A few questions: what is your team set up? I would guess it's the two vuls right?

If so my advice would be the following:
1) buy a third party slot if you haven't and train up a nother pet
1b) new pet should be light healer.
2) mythical pets have better stats, I see you have lots of venes, try a team of them. If you have the gold invest in maxed stats or superstats.
3) use higher level and stronger gear. The closer to the level of the pet the better
3b) place gear according to the pets alignment.
4) try other alignment teams, I personally prefer earth/wind/light. There is no one perfect alignment team so experiment
5) spend PP according to the recommendations stats for your pets alignment

Two vuls and the lonely sylvorpa boi in my last stable tab lol
I do have a team of 'venes that I haven't quite leveled up yet so that'll most likely be my next step now. So thank you for that tip.
